Skin technology, today the Star mask offers characteristics that were
unimaginable until very recently.
Thanks to simultaneous injection of two different kinds of silicone,
its no longer necessary to choose between comfort and resistance to
flattening in the mask skirt.
The silicone in contact with the face is 45% softer and 270% more
flexible that the type generally used.
Its very light weight offers an unequalled level of comfort for spear
fishers or free divers who use the masks for long periods.
Its extreme elasticity allows the mask to adapt perfectly to the shape
of nearly every face, while also eliminating water seepage phenomena
that often occur when compensating or when putting the snorkel back in
your mouth.
The silicone used for the frame support structure in 30% stiffer than
classic silicone.
The mask skirt offers better resistance to the flattening caused by an
increase in pressure.
Reduced volume and resistance to flattening make compensating easier
and also decrease the frequency that its needed.
The new types of silicone used help limit the formation of
condensation.
The Star Liquid Skin is equipped with new "ERGO" buckles that make it
quick and intuitive to adjust the strap tension.
